GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The ICT officer who is passionate about the leveraging ICT in addressing human rights issues, with a proven track record of success in Web design and management, Content Creation, Cloud Host maintenance, data protection and cyber security.  An energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive person; a team leader who can positively and proactively drive both strategic and tactical initiatives to promote human rights in Nigeria. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain ICT inventories, including the media library, software assets, and hardware assets.
• Develop, design, manage, and maintain the organization’s websites and other online platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, copiers, phones, tablets, CCTV, and biometric machines.
• Implement solutions for managing IT challenges, such as virus protection, internet connectivity, synchronization, and backups.
• Manage the TALKAM Human Rights App platform
• Coordinate Human Rights ICT Lab 
• Oversee and manage Google Workspace operations.
• Install, configure, and set up laptops and mobile devices in compliance with DEVATOP’s standard laptop build checklist.
• Test and evaluate new technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Coordinate the creation and publishing of content on DEVATOP/TALKAM website and social media channels like Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Install and maintain software as required.
• Conduct data protection and cybersecurity training sessions.
• Manage third-party contracts and subscriptions for the delivery of ICT products and services
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the employer.

Qualifications for ICT Officer

• At least two years experience in ICT within the nonprofit sector.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail and extraordinary multitasking ability.
• A reliable and diligent worker.

Educational Qualification:

• BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any other related field
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an ICT officer position, preferably in the NGO sector.
