Call for Consultant for the Creation and Development of Interactive Online Courses
POSITION: Online Course & TALKAM Human Rights Support Consultant
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week (Hybrid: Combination of physical presence at DEVATOP Office and remote work)
Location of Work: DEVATOP Office, Abuja, Nigeria
NOTE: This is strictly for applicants that reside in Federal Capital Territory.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Call for Consultant/Contractor: Online Course & TALKAM Human Rights Support Consultant
Devatop Centre for Africa Development is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced Consultant/Contractor to support the implementation of strategic components of its TALKAM Human Rights Initiative over a 12-month period.
Requested Services: The Consultant/Contractor will be responsible for:
- Creation and Development of 8 Human Rights Online Courses for the TALKAM Human Rights Initiative, tailored for diverse learners, especially young people.
- Coordinate resource mobilization, including planning and implementing strategies for launching the TALKAM Human Rights Supporters Program and attracting institutional, individual, and corporate support.
- Performing any other organizational services/tasks as assigned by DEVATOP
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in online course design, content development, instructional development, and e-learning systems.
- Proven experience in resource mobilization, grant writing, fundraising strategy, and donor communications.
- Strong knowledge of human rights, civic education, social justice, or development work.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with civil society organizations or tech-driven advocacy projects is an added advantage.
